ACILIA is an AI-powered smart speaker and mobile app platform that integrates with wearables and IoT devices to support informal care partners of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). In the U.S., over 40 million unpaid caregivers provide essential support, including 1.5 million who care for individuals in the early stages of dementia. These caregivers often experience chronic stress, burnout, and social isolation, leading to negative health outcomes for both themselves and the individuals they care for. Existing solutions focus on professional care or occasional interventions, failing to offer continuous, personalized, and proactive support.
