Epilepsy is the third most common neurological disorder in the elderly, and its diagnosis is often complicated by coexisting diseases. To enable accurate diagnosis and seizure detection for elderly patients, our project aims to develop an intelligent epilepsy monitoring device. This device integrates advanced algorithms for epilepsy diagnosis, seizure detection, and prediction designed. Then these algorithms will be implemented on a FPGA chip, enabling efficient, low-power, wireless real-time EEG acquisition and monitoring. This innovative approach aims to simplify the diagnostic process and improve the management of epilepsy in elderly patients, enhancing their quality of life and safety.
