Cardiovascular disease is one of the major medical burdens faced by our aging society in the future. Artificial replacement implants (such as artificial blood vessels and prosthetic valves) are important consumables in surgical treatment. Among them, TPU elastomers are widely used because of their good biocompatibility and mechanical properties. This study combined the Chinese Academy of Sciences institute of chemical engineering plastic key laboratory, cardiovascular state key laboratory, wuhan yeung sum biological co., LTD., ningbo BeiAng co., LTD., through university-industry cooperation mode of TPU elastomer processed into artificial blood vessels and valves and other downstream products from learn the formula design of biomedical polymer chemistry and materials and performance verification.
